CHOCOLATE PINE CONES PREPARATION
Making the CHOCOLATE PINE CONES is very easy and quick.
Place the cocoa cookies in the food processor and grind them finely. Transfer them to a bowl, add the plain yogurt and Nutella and mix everything well until you obtain a compact dough.
Transfer it to the refrigerator for 20 minutes so it firms up and becomes easier to work with.
After resting in the refrigerator, take the dough out. Shape it into balls of about 2.5 oz each and give them a conical form. If you wish, you can make them in different sizes.
Insert one cereal flake at a time, starting from the base of the cone and working your way up to the top. Place them row by row, arranging the flakes in a staggered way to achieve a more realistic effect.
Place the chocolate pine cones on a tray and return them to the refrigerator.
At serving time, dust them with powdered sugar.
VARIATIONS
You can replace the yogurt with an equal quantity of spreadable fresh cheese.
If they are not intended for children, you can add 2 tablespoons of rum to the mixture.
