Ingredients

  • 28 oz chicken breast
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 1 yellow bell pepper
  • 1 yellow onion
  • Half glass white wine
  • to taste extra virgin olive oil
  • to taste flour
  • to taste salt
  • to taste black pepper
  • to taste dried oregano

Steps

  • For the preparation of chicken with peppers, first cut the chicken breast into cubes. Wash and dry the peppers, remove the inner seeds and white membranes, and cut them into dice.
    In a large frying pan, sauté the onion in a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil.
    When the onion is golden, add the peppers to the pan with a pinch of salt and let them cook for a couple of minutes. If the mixture looks too dry, add a little hot water. Let them brown over high heat.

  • Dredge the chicken pieces in flour, shake off the excess flour and add them to the pan. Brown in the pan over high heat for about 10 minutes.

    Add the dry white wine, let it evaporate completely and season with salt again. Then add the oregano.

  • When the chicken is cooked, remove it from the heat and serve, garnishing with another sprinkle of oregano.
