Spreadable cheese with sun-dried tomatoes

The spreadable sun-dried tomato cheese is a very easy sauce to make, prepared starting from a good spreadable cheese, perhaps homemade and sun-dried tomatoes preserved in oil. A delicious spread to serve as an appetizer with crackers or olive oil breadsticks, and perfect to spread on homemade bread and flavorful bruschetta. Ingredients to make the spreadable sun-dried tomato cheese

  • 7 oz cream cheese (about 1 cup)
  • 3 oz sun-dried tomatoes in oil (drained)
  • 4 leaves basil

Preparation

  • Place the drained sun-dried tomatoes in oil, the cream cheese and the basil into the blender jar. Blend until you obtain a homogeneous mixture, adjusting the consistency with a little water if necessary. Our spreadable sun-dried tomato cheese is ready to be served and enjoyed.

Storage notes and tips

Once you have prepared our spreadable sun-dried tomato cheese, you can enjoy it as you prefer.

This spread keeps in the fridge for 3-4 days, well sealed in an airtight container.
