Pork loin rolls with beer stuffed with ham and cheese, an easy, quick and super creamy main course.
The pan-cooked pork loin rolls with beer are perfect when you want a creamy and quick meat main course with the comforting flavor of the old days. A home-style, simple recipe full of taste, ideal to bring to the table all the tenderness of pork with an irresistible creamy sauce.
Have you ever tried meat rolls with beer? If you haven’t tasted them yet, it’s time to remedy that — the recipe is super easy and tasty. The pan-cooked beer rolls intrigued me for a while, but since I’m not a big fan of this drink, I kept postponing it. Then one day I bought pork loin to make my classic Sicilian breaded rolls, but having beer close to its expiration date, I decided it was the right moment to make my creamy and gooey pork rolls with beer. I used pork loin, economical and tasty, but you can make beer rolls with thinly sliced chicken breast, veal scaloppine or even turkey breast, and they will be amazing as well.
Once cooked I served the pork loin rolls super creamy with a gooey center — oh my, they were delicious! A delicate and delightful flavor that surprised me and the meat was so tender it seemed to melt in the mouth! Don’t believe me? I recommend you try them — you’ll find a pork loin recipe perfect for a family dinner or a meal with friends that will amaze everyone!

Steps to cook super creamy and tender pork rolls with beer
I made the beer rolls with pork loin, but you can also use veal or chicken scaloppine. Dredge the slices in flour so it adheres well, fill each slice with ham and cheese and roll up to form a roll, secure with a toothpick and repeat for all slices.
Smash two whole garlic cloves without peeling them, place them in a skillet with a generous drizzle of oil and brown. Lay in the rolls and brown them well on all sides so that a golden crust forms.
Remove the garlic cloves and pour in the beer, let it evaporate while cooking over medium heat, basting the rolls often with the cooking juices that will gradually form; season with salt and pepper.
When a thick, creamy sauce has formed on the bottom and the cheese starts to ooze out of the rolls, they are ready to be brought to the table and served hot, creamy and gooey.
Storage notes and tips
Eat the rolls as soon as they are made — they are tastier and more tender. If you have leftovers, store them in the fridge for up to 24 hours in an airtight container and reheat before eating, adding a little water and bringing to a simmer.

FAQ (Questions and Answers)
Can pork loin rolls with beer be prepared in advance?Yes, pork loin rolls with beer can be prepared in advance and reheated in a skillet with their cooking juices. This way the meat will remain tender and the sauce even creamier.
Can I substitute the beer in the pork loin rolls?
Yes, in the pork loin rolls you can replace the beer with beef or vegetable broth. The result will still be creamy and delicate, although the flavor will be slightly less intense than the original version.
How can I prevent pork loin rolls with beer from becoming tough?
To get tender pork loin rolls, it is important not to overcook them and to use thin slices of pork loin. It is also recommended to cook the rolls over low heat with the lid on to keep the meat tender and the sauce creamy.
Can pork loin rolls with beer be baked in the oven?
Pork loin rolls with beer are traditionally cooked in a skillet to obtain more tender meat and a creamy sauce. However, if you prefer to bake them, you can transfer them to a baking dish after a short browning and continue cooking at 356°F for about 20 minutes, covering with aluminum foil to prevent them from drying out. This will give them a slight crispy gratin on top.
