Honey granola without sugar is a simple and genuine option for a homemade breakfast, perfect for anyone who wants something crunchy and tasty without refined sugars. Made with natural ingredients such as rolled oats, nuts and honey, it’s ideal to start the day with energy.
Honey, used as a natural sweetener instead of white sugar, allows you to obtain a balanced and light preparation, perfect for those who want to reduce added sugars without sacrificing taste.
Unlike packaged products, which are often rich in preservatives, making it at home allows you to control the quality of the ingredients and obtain a nutritious and genuine result. Rolled oats are a valuable source of fiber that helps provide a feeling of fullness, while nuts supply healthy fats beneficial to the body.
Making granola at home also lets you personalize the recipe according to your needs by adding seeds, dried fruit or spices to vary your breakfast every day.
Once ready, you can store it in an airtight jar and use it throughout the week to accompany yogurt or milk, or plant-based drinks such as a good homemade almond milk.
It’s also great as a snack to curb hunger or as a topping for smoothie bowls and light desserts; it easily fits into a balanced breakfast.

Preparation of sugar-free honey granola
To make the sugar-free granola, gather all the dry ingredients in a bowl and mix them, then add the honey, oil and water. Work everything with your hands (dipping them into the bowl) until you get a homogeneous mixture where all ingredients are evenly coated.
Line the baking sheet with parchment paper, pour the granola onto it and spread it evenly across the sheet, compacting it with your hands or a spatula.
Place in the oven at 302°F (convection) for 20 minutes, then take it out, turn everything over (crumbling as little as possible) and return it to the oven for another 20 minutes.
Remove from the oven, gently turn it again and bake for the final 20 minutes.
Let it rest in the switched-off oven for 20 minutes, then remove, let it cool slightly and enjoy.
Homemade honey granola without sugar keeps for about 3 weeks if stored in an airtight jar in a cool, dry place. It’s important to let it cool completely before storing to keep it crunchy longer and avoid moisture formation. To give it an extra kick, you can add seeds to your granola as desired.
