Oven-baked beer and honey pork ribs. We have made many meat recipes with beer, from chicken, to roast pork, chicken rolls and much more, but I hadn’t cooked ribs yet. So when a few days ago my son asked me to cook pork ribs, I took the opportunity to expand my collection of recipes with beer and tried this very simple main dish! Making whole pork ribs with beer and honey is really easy; this is a recipe that everyone can manage, very economical and tasty. I improved it by adding to the beer, besides the spices, also two tablespoons of honey which complete the flavor in a unique way. The ribs are simply seasoned with spices, splashed with beer and then put in the oven — practically a preparation of only 5 minutes. Curious to try it too? Let’s go then: the ribs cooked in beer turn out very tender and the beer — choose a light one — does not leave a bitter taste, but only an intense and pleasant aroma and a delicious sauce to mop up with bread. For this recipe I chose whole ribs; the cooking time is a bit longer, but the flavor benefits greatly, and remember that the alcohol evaporates completely during cooking, making it suitable even for the little ones. Now let’s run to the kitchen and discover together how to make oven-baked beer and honey pork ribs, but first I remind you that if you want to stay updated on new recipes you can follow my page Facebook and my profile Instagram.

Beer and Honey Pork Ribs Baked in the Oven
Place the pork ribs in a roasting pan, add the chopped onion, the aromatic herbs (fresh or dried: black pepper, bay leaf, sage, mint, oregano, garlic, rosemary, etc.), the honey and a sprinkling of salt. Pour the beer over the meat, place in a preheated oven at 392°F (conventional). Bake for about 1 hour and 30 minutes, turning occasionally and basting with the cooking juices. If during cooking the beer almost evaporates, add some water and continue.
If you don’t have whole ribs, use cut ribs, but reduce the cooking time by about 10 minutes.

The ribs are ready to be served and enjoyed. Store any leftovers in the refrigerator and consume within 24 hours after reheating.
