Ingredients for Creamy Curry Chicken

  • 12 oz chicken breast (whole)
  • 2 tablespoons curry (powder)
  • 7 tablespoons water
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 pinch fine salt (or pink salt)

Useful Tools for Creamy Curry Chicken

  • Bowl glass
  • Kitchen Scale
  • 2 Spoons tablespoons
  • Pan non-stick with lid
  • Wooden Spoon
  • Cutting Board and knife
  • Plastic Wrap
  • Small Bowl

Steps for Perfect Curry Chicken

  • Clean the chicken breast from scraps (if you cannot, have your butcher do it) and cut it into cubes all approximately the same size, place them in the bowl, preferably glass.

  • In a small bowl, pour the curry, a pinch of salt, the flour, and 3 (of the 7 listed in the ingredients) tablespoons of water, mix well until you get a uniform mixture.

  • Pour the curry cream over the chicken pieces and mix with two spoons until the chicken is fully coated, cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let it rest for 30 minutes at room temperature (in winter) or in the fridge (in summer).

  • After resting, heat the oil in the pan over medium heat, and once hot, add the chicken with all its cream, add the remaining tablespoons of water, stir with a wooden spoon, cover with a lid, and cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally.

  • At the end of cooking, the curry chicken will be creamy, well-cooked, soft, and with a delicious sauce to accompany it when you serve it. If it dries out too much at the end of cooking, add 1 tablespoon of water at a time until you reach the perfect consistency and cooking! Enjoy your meal!

Tips

If you want to make the creamy curry chicken even more delicious, you can add freshly ground pepper at the end of cooking.
