Ingredients
- 3/4 cup 00 flour (all-purpose flour)
- 1/4 cup walnuts (roughly chopped)
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3 tbsp butter
- 2 tsp extra virgin olive oil
- egg
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 orange zest
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar (confectioners' sugar)
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar (granulated)
Preparation
Chop the orange zest and place it in a bowl.
Then roughly chop the walnuts and add them to the zest; add the sugar.
Add the butter, the egg, the oil, the flour and the baking powder and mix everything well.
Take a portion of dough about the size of a walnut, form balls, roll them first in granulated sugar and then in powdered sugar.
Place the cookies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and slightly flatten them with your fingers.
Bake in a preheated oven at 356°F for about 15 minutes until golden.
