Chocolate Chip Doughnuts

Soft and delicious, chocolate chip doughnuts are perfect for dipping in milk or for putting in a backpack as a wholesome snack. They’re ideal when you want something homemade but don’t want to complicate things: the recipe uses ingredients we always have in the pantry and the result is soft and light.

I always try to prepare sweets at home, especially those for breakfast and snacks: at least I know which ingredients I use and what we eat.

The batter is quick to make and the baking is rather fast, given the small size of the doughnuts. I used metal molds similar to muffin tins but with a hole to create the doughnuts. However, if you don’t have them, you can use standard muffin tins.

If you prefer, with the same quantities you can also make a loaf cake: just pour the batter into a loaf pan and bake for about 40 minutes.
