Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 5.3 oz provola (provola cheese)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 packet instant baking powder for savory preparations
- Half (about 1/4 cup / 4 tbsp / 62.5 ml) yogurt jar (125 g) vegetable oil
- 3/4 cup + 2 tsp (about 187.5 ml) water
- 6.6 oz sweet pancetta (pancetta dolce), diced
- 1 3/4 cups soft flour (for cakes) — about 225 g
- 1 yogurt jar (125 g / ~1/2 cup) plain natural yogurt
Steps
By “jar” we mean a yogurt jar of 125 g (about 125 ml, roughly 1/2 cup).
Beat the eggs in a bowl, add the yogurt and continue mixing, then add the oil and the water (or milk) and mix after each addition.
Add the flour with the baking powder and the salt, and mix with a spoon if needed.
Stir in the peas, the pancetta and the provola cut into pieces, mix well and pour everything into a greased and floured 8-inch (20 cm) cake pan, drizzle a little oil on top and bake at 356°F (180°C) for about 30-35 minutes.
