Ingredients
- 11 oz smoked salmon
- 18 oz orecchiette
- 3/4 cup cooking cream
- 2 tsp coarse salt
- to taste black pepper (ground)
Steps
Take the smoked salmon and cut it into thin strips.
Then cut it into fairly small dice.
Now place the smoked salmon in a pan and lightly sauté it.
At this point add the cream and stir well until the ingredients are well combined. Season with freshly ground black pepper and then turn off the heat.
Meanwhile, put plenty of water in a pot; when it comes to a boil add the salt and pour in the orecchiette. Cook them until al dente.
Drain the orecchiette, reserving a cup of the cooking water. Now add the pasta to the sauce.
Toss them together and, if necessary, add a little of the reserved cooking water.
