- 1 1/2 cup swiss chard (chopped)
- 2/3 cup ricotta
- 3 oz salami (or mixed cured meats)
- 3 oz provola (or fiordilatte (fresh mozzarella))
- 1 egg
Steps
Boil the egg, let it cool and peel it.
Place the pastry with the short side toward you and make oblique cuts along the sides. Mix the ricotta with the mixed cured meats (salami, speck, prosciutto), salt and pepper.
Fill the center of the pastry with the ricotta and cured meats, add the swiss chard leaves (no need to cook them, but you can if you prefer), the crumbled egg and provola cut into pieces.
Braid the pastry, seal it and bake in a preheated oven at 392°F for about 20-25 minutes, keeping an eye on it.
