Strawberry Jam with Instant Pot, a quick and easy solution to prepare a wholesome homemade preserve in about 30 minutes with just a few simple ingredients.
Making strawberry jam at home has never been so easy. With the Instant Pot you can achieve a perfect texture, halfway between creamy and spreadable, without constantly monitoring the cooking. This recipe is ideal if you’re looking for a practical, fast method that anyone can use, even if you’re a beginner.
In this version I chose not to use pectin: the apple, added to the strawberries, helps thicken the jam naturally, while the lemon juice balances the sweetness and enhances the flavor. The result is an authentic-tasting homemade strawberry jam with balanced sweetness and a pleasant consistency.
Cooking in the Instant Pot allows you to concentrate the flavors in a short time, preserving the aroma of fresh fruit and minimizing effort. In about half an hour you’ll have a jam ready to enjoy, perfect for breakfast, filling pastries, or simply on a slice of bread.
A simple, quick, and reliable recipe designed for those who want to make strawberry jam without complications but with a truly satisfying result.

Recipe for Strawberry Jam with Instant Pot
Start preparing the strawberry jam with the Instant Pot by washing the fruit.
Peel the apple and remove the core, then cut it into pieces.
Also chop the strawberries and put everything into the Instant Pot inner pot.
Add the brown sugar, mix well, and let macerate for 30 minutes.
After half an hour, add the juice of one lemon to the macerated fruit and mix again.
Seal the Instant Pot with its lid and close the valve.
Set the multicooker to Pressure Cook with low pressure (LOW) for 2 minutes.
At the end of the program do not quick-release; let the pot naturally depressurize until the valve drops on its own.
The jam will be a bit runny, so switch to Sauté mode for about 15 minutes or until the jam reaches the desired consistency.
The strawberry jam made in the Instant Pot is ready to eat. Store it in the refrigerator for one week or proceed to preserve it following the guidelines from the Ministry of Health.

FAQ (Questions and Answers)
Can I replace brown sugar with white sugar?
Yes, the jam will turn out slightly lighter in color and less caramel-like in flavor, but still delicious.
Is it possible to make the jam without an apple?
Yes, but without the apple the jam will be less thick and more runny. In that case you can cook it a few extra minutes or add an extra teaspoon of lemon juice to help natural thickening.
Do I need a specific Instant Pot model?
No, any model with a “Sauté” and “Pressure Cook” function works for this recipe.
