How to make Pleurotus mushrooms gratined in the oven
Let’s start preparing Pleurotus mushrooms gratined in the oven. Clean the mushrooms, remove the tough parts of the stem and wipe them with a cloth or rinse them quickly under running water and then pat them dry with parchment paper so as to remove all the water. Please do not leave them soaking because you would ruin the mushroom and it would absorb water.
Line the baking tray with parchment paper and arrange the mushrooms neatly. Pour the breadcrumbs into a bowl, add a pinch of salt, some pepper, chopped parsley, the crushed or finely chopped garlic and extra-virgin olive oil, mix everything well to obtain a moist, sandy mixture.
Sprinkle the seasoned breadcrumbs so as to cover most of the mushroom. Bake in a preheated convection oven at 356°F for 20 minutes.
Serve hot or at room temperature.
How to store Pleurotus mushrooms gratined in the oven
Store them in the refrigerator for 2-3 days. Once cooked, you can also freeze them for a few months.
