First, you’ll just need to cook the beef or chicken burgers, whichever you prefer. As for the fries, I used frozen ones, but fresh thin-sliced ones work too. Then it only takes a minute to warm the buns, and finally, you can assemble your sandwich. I added a little fresh lettuce, a slice of cheese, and some slices of tomato, but you can be creative and add whatever you like best.

How to Prepare Burgers and Fries in Air Fryer

  • Place the burgers in the air fryer basket. Cook them at 356°F for 8 minutes. Flip them halfway through to ensure even browning.

  • Once the burgers are out of the fryer, put the fries in the basket. Cook them at 356°F for 12 minutes. Shake the basket halfway through for even cooking and crispy fries. (Follow the cooking times indicated on the package of the fries you purchased).

  • When the fries are ready, think about the bread. If you want a warm, slightly toasted bun, put the opened buns in the air fryer for 1 minute at 356°F. This step is optional but makes a difference.

  • Take the bun. At the base, place a slice of tomato and some lettuce. Position the burger and place a slice of cheese on top of the burger. The residual heat will slightly melt it. Cover with the top part of the bun.

  • Serve immediately.
