Steps for Preparing the Puff Pastry Star with Potatoes
First, peel the potatoes and, after washing them, steam them by cutting into chunks. You can also boil them. I cook them in a pressure cooker and it takes just a few minutes. Once cooked, let them cool.
Unroll the puff pastry. I take it out of the fridge a few minutes before using it so it doesn’t break when unrolling. Cover the central part with slices of cold cuts and cheese. Leave a border of 1-1.5 inches uncovered.
Divide the border into wedges. Take the edges of each wedge and join them two by two. In the central part, above the cheese, place the potatoes. Season them with salt and Parmesan, and bake at 356°F, static, for 20-25 minutes. Once cooked, garnish with chopped parsley. Serve at the table.
