Paradise Cream with Strega

Strega paradise cream is a delicious no-cook cream, easy and quick to make.

Flavored with Strega liqueur, the herbal liqueur from Benevento with its unmistakable golden-yellow color, egg-free and no-cook, prepared with electric beaters, it’s perfect as a spoon dessert or to fill cakes, tarts or desserts in general. It is made with only three ingredients, in a few minutes, simple, fragrant and irresistible.

Ingredients

  • 9 oz (about 1 cup + 2 tbsp) mascarpone
  • 3/4 cup (about 200 ml) cold heavy cream (for whipping)
  • 3 tbsp Strega liqueur

Preparation of Strega paradise cream

  • In a large bowl, pour the mascarpone and the liqueur and begin working them into a cream with electric beaters.

  • Pour the whipping cream in a thin stream while still liquid but very cold from the refrigerator, without stopping the electric beaters, until you obtain a thick and firm cream.

  • Use your Strega paradise cream to fill desserts or as a spoon dessert.
    Keep refrigerated until serving.
