Stuffed Peppers with Breadcrumbs

Stuffed Peppers with Breadcrumbs, an easy-to-make side dish, especially seasonal. Among various vegetables, peppers have the longest season, starting in April and remaining fresh in the market until October. Initially, all peppers are green, and as they mature in the height of summer, they turn red or yellow. Let’s take advantage of them; peppers are the richest in vitamin C, with three times more than oranges and twice as much as kiwi. Peppers are also rich in minerals and vitamin A, and they contain capsaicin, which gives them their spicy flavor. One intriguing aspect of peppers is their calorie content; only 22 calories per 100 grams, making them a widely used food in weight-loss diets.
