Ingredients
- 1 sheet puff pastry (fresh, rectangular)
- 2/3 cup (about 3.5 oz) strawberries
- Nutella
- 1 egg
- sugar
Preparation of the puff pastry rolls with strawberries and Nutella
Preheat the oven to 356°F (convection).
Wash the strawberries and dice them.
Unroll the puff pastry, leaving it on its baking paper, and spread a thin layer of Nutella over it.Distribute the strawberry cubes over the Nutella.
Roll the puff pastry up along its long side, using the underneath baking paper to help.
With a straight-edged knife, cut the roll into slices about 1 9/16 inches thick (about 4 cm).Place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Beat the egg in a small bowl and brush it over the rolls, then sprinkle them with a little sugar.
Bake for fifteen minutes.
Remove from the oven, let cool, and serve your puff pastry rolls with strawberries and Nutella.
