Ingredients
- 2 cups cups all-purpose flour
- 2/3 cup cups sugar
- 1/2 cup cups butter
- 1 egg
- 1/2 packet of baking powder
- vanilla flavor
- 4 royal apples
- 1/3 cup cups brown sugar
- juice of one lemon
- 1 pinch cinnamon
- to taste powdered sugar

Steps
Peel the apples, remove the core, and cut them into 1/4 inch cubes.
After cutting the apples, start cooking by adding the sugar in the pan.
Add the apple cubes, lemon juice, and sprinkle with cinnamon.
Turn on the heat and cook, stirring often for 15 minutes. If necessary, add a splash of water. Mash the apple pieces during cooking.
Turn off and let cool.
Let’s prepare the shortcrust pastry, which I made with limited butter and eggs.
Add the flour mixed with the baking powder, and in the middle, add the remaining ingredients.
Knead and let rest for half an hour in the fridge.
Line the 9-inch diameter pan with parchment paper.
Divide the dough into two parts and start rolling.
Place the shortcrust pastry disc at the bottom of the pan and start pricking it with a fork.
Pour in the apple mixture and cover with the other shortcrust pastry disc.
Seal the edges and prick with a fork.
Bake at 340°F for about 30-35 minutes.
Let cool, sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving.
