Hot Chocolate Mix Ingredients

  • 2.1 oz 60% dark chocolate (to be chopped)
  • 0.9 oz sugar
  • 0.9 oz unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 0.9 oz cornstarch

Tools

  • 1 Jar 150 ml

Preparation of the Hot Chocolate Mix

  • Preparing the Hot Chocolate Mix is really very simple and very quick. It just takes a little patience, but not much! Let’s take our jar, which must be very clean, and start adding our ingredients.

  • Let’s start with the cornstarch, distributing it well with the help of a teaspoon or the handle of a spoon. Then add the cocoa powder, sugar, and chocolate. We need to try to create well-defined layers, always with the help of a teaspoon or a spoon.

  • At this point, all that is left is to close the jar with the lid. Remember to prepare a card with the “instructions for use.” The Hot Chocolate Mix in a jar should be put in a saucepan with 2 ½ cups of milk, then light the stove and stir with a whisk until the desired thickness is reached.

Notes

We can use brown sugar.

The dark chocolate can be either in bar form (to be chopped with a knife) or in chocolate chips.

The Chocolate Mix can also be prepared in advance, it keeps for up to 1 month.
