Ingredients for Air Fryer Stuffed Apples:
- 4 yellow apples
- 4 teaspoons apricot jam
- to taste sliced almonds
- 4 teaspoons nutella
- to taste hazelnut crunch
Tools for Air Fryer Stuffed Apples:
- 1 Air Fryer
- 1 Apple Corer
- 2 Teaspoons
Steps for Preparing and Cooking Stuffed Apples in Fryer:
Wash the apples well and dry them. Use an apple corer to remove the core, being careful not to go through the bottom of the apple, so the filling stays inside.
Make incisions on the apples with a knife, so they won’t burst during cooking and will look nice.
Take two apples and fill the hole with apricot jam or any flavor you prefer, then top with almond slices.
For the other two apples, fill the hole with nutella and sprinkle some hazelnut crunch on top.
Place the apples in a baking dish. We used a silicone dish, but any dish you normally use will work.
Cook at 356°F (180°C) for about 25 minutes, then remove the apples from the oven and let them cool before eating. They are also great served with vanilla ice cream.
You can store the cooked apples in the fridge in an airtight container for a few days. Take them out of the fridge 30 minutes before serving so they won’t be too cold, or you can heat them for a minute in the air fryer.
