  • 5 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar

Steps

  • In a bowl, put the eggs, sugar, a pinch of salt, and beat until light and creamy. Add the oil, vanilla, and the flour gradually, mixing.

  • Finally, add the baking powder and mix well. Pour about 3/4 of the batter into the mold, add the cocoa to the remaining batter, and mix. Bake at 356°F for about 40/50 min.

📦 Storage:

The marbled plumcake stays soft for 3-4 days at room temperature, stored in an airtight container or wrapped in plastic wrap to prevent it from drying out. You can also freeze it already sliced: this way it will be ready to thaw when needed, slightly warming it to regain all its fragrance.
