- 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup potato starch
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup milk (at room temperature)
- 1 medium egg (at room temperature)
- 1 tablespoon chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon baking powder

Steps for preparing and cooking cocoa doves in air fryer:
In a bowl, place the egg and sugar and whisk the two ingredients with an electric mixer until you have a frothy and almost white mixture, add the melted butter at room temperature and mix it with the other ingredients, gradually add the flour and potato starch, the sifted baking powder, cocoa powder, and chocolate chips.
Finally, slowly add the milk; if the batter seems too thick, add a bit more milk.
Pour the mixture into two paper molds for doves about 6×4 inches, place the doves on the air fryer rack, decorate them with sugar sprinkles and chocolate chips.
Cook at 320°F for 15/18 minutes, check the cooking with the toothpick test.
Remove the cocoa doves from the fryer, let them cool, and dust them with powdered sugar before serving.
