Fried Sweet Ravioli with Ricotta and Chocolate Cream, so Delicious You Can’t Stop at One

Every time I make Carnival Chiacchiere, I always prepare Fried Sweet Ravioli with Ricotta and Chocolate Cream as well, the dough is practically the same. I used ricotta with chocolate chips for the filling, but you can also use jam or Nutella.

I strictly fry them, but they are also delicious baked. Try them.

  • The first thing to do is prepare the chiacchiere dough, wrap it in plastic wrap, and let it rest in the fridge for about 30 minutes.

  • Add the lemon zest and mix again. Let it rest in the fridge until ready to use.

  • Take small pieces of dough and roll them out with our pasta roller. You can also use a rolling pin if desired.

  • Place a bit of ricotta cream in the center of each strip of dough.

  • Cover with another strip of dough and use the pastry wheel to form the ravioli. Fry them in hot oil and once they are cool, dust with powdered sugar.
