Ingredients
- 1.1 lbs apples
- 4 medium eggs
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2/3 cup flour
- 1/2 cup whole milk yogurt
- to taste ground cinnamon
- 1 tbsp rum
- to taste raisins
Tools
- 1 Air Fryer
- 1 Oil Sprayer
- 1 Baking Pan
- 1 Bowl
- 1 Hand Whisk
Preparation
Wash the apples thoroughly because we will not peel them, dry them, and cut them into 4 wedges. Remove the core with the seeds and slice them about a quarter-inch thick.
Place the obtained slices in a container and add the raisins, rum, cinnamon, and mix well. If the raisins are too dry, soak them in the rum for at least ten minutes.
In a large bowl, pour the eggs (if they are very large, consider using one less) with the sugar and whisk with a hand whisk. Add the yogurt, flour, and mix well.
Incorporate the apples into the batter and pour everything into the non-stick baking pan, but it should be lightly oiled beforehand. Bake at 350°F, possibly after preheating the air fryer, and let it cook for about 10 minutes. After this time, open and check, then close again and continue for another 10 minutes. At this point, by reopening, you can assess the cooking status and decide how you prefer to remove it from the fryer. I prefer it well golden-brown.
Serve our Sweet Apple Omelet in Air Fryer, hot, accompanied with vanilla cream or whipped cream as if it were a strudel, or at room temperature with ice cream and a dusting of powdered sugar.
