Mint and cinnamon flavored sugar is perfect to give as a gift for Christmas or other special occasions. It’s very easy to make, requires only a few items, and comes in two separate flavors: 1 mint and 1 cinnamon. You’ll just need some medium-sized glass jars with airtight lids and a colorful ribbon, and you’re done! The quantities provided below are for two medium-sized jars. If you give them as gifts, include a note with instructions on how to use them. They can be used to flavor desserts or tea and herbal teas! And homemade gifts are always very appreciated (plus they help you save money and that’s a bonus!).

Preparation of Mint and Cinnamon Flavored Sugar
If you already have dried mint, just measure the ingredients, mix them, and place them in the jar, and you’re done. If you want to dry the mint yourself, find the instructions in the “notes” section below!
Weigh the sugar and ground cinnamon, mix them well, and place them in the jar. In the center of the sugar, insert 2 cinnamon sticks, close, and you’re done!

To decorate the jars, you can use white and red twine as I did. If you want to enhance the jars, you can add a handwritten note with the uses or a greeting phrase! I hope this DIY gift idea is useful to you!

Notes
If you want to dry mint, proceed as follows: gather about 20 mint leaves, wash them, dry them thoroughly by patting them with paper towels, place them on a baking sheet with parchment paper, spacing them apart from each other, and dry them in the oven at 140°F for 1 hour with the door slightly open. After this time, touch them, and if they are well dried, turn off the oven, take them out, and let them cool. Once cooled, crumble them (they crumble just by touching them!) and use them for your preparations!
