The savory pie with pumpkin cream and bacon is a rustic and tasty dish, perfect for those who love autumn flavors.
This recipe is perfect for any occasion, even to celebrate Halloween with both big kids and little ones.
You can replace the bacon with cooked ham and, for a lighter version, ricotta with cream. In any case, it will be a success because, besides being good, it is very pretty to look at.

Add the cooking cream, grated Parmesan cheese, and salt, and mix until homogeneous.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Unroll the first sheet of puff pastry and place it with its paper on a round baking tray.
Prick the base using the tines of a fork and distribute the sweet bacon cubes.
Pour the pumpkin cream and level with a spoon.
Unroll the second sheet of puff pastry and, using a themed cookie cutter, cut out pumpkin shapes. Brush them with beaten egg yolk and place them on the surface of our pie.
Bake for about 25/30 minutes until golden brown.
