How to Prepare Spoon Savory Cake with Salami and Cheese
Place all the ingredients in a bowl and mix with the spoon.
Pour half the dough into a 20 cm tart mold previously buttered and floured. Level with the spoon.
Fill with slices of salami and cheese. (I used Emmental). Cover with the remaining dough and level.
Bake in a hot, static oven at 356°F (180°C) and let cook for about 25/30 minutes.
Take out of the oven and serve. The spoon savory cake is good both hot and cold.
Storage
The savory cake can be stored in the refrigerator for 2 days. You can also freeze it. Once cooked, let it cool completely, then wrap it whole or sliced in food-grade plastic wrap or freezer bags. To defrost it, keep it at room temperature and once ready consume it immediately. To reheat it, you can use the oven at 302°F (150°C) or the microwave.
