How to Prepare Pasta with Bacon, Black Olives, and Sauce
In a skillet, add a drizzle of oil and the smoked bacon in cubes. (If you like, you can add half a finely chopped onion).
Move to the stovetop and let the bacon brown over high heat for a few minutes.
Add the tomato sauce and olives (either green or black as you prefer) sliced. If the sauce is too thick, also add half a cup of water. Let the sauce cook over low heat for 5 minutes or according to your taste. At the end of cooking, add salt if you like. (I didn’t add any because the bacon is already tasty).
Proceed to cook the pasta. Cook the pasta in plenty of salted water, drain it al dente, and season it with the prepared sauce.
Serve hot, and optionally add grated Parmesan cheese.
