Steps
Make an incision on the rounded part of the chestnuts, this is to prevent them from bursting during cooking.
Soak them in water for an hour; soaking will make it easier to remove the inner skin when they are cooked.
Dry the chestnuts before cooking them.
Place them in the air fryer basket.
Avoid putting too many and keep them from piling on top of each other.
Close the basket and cook at 392°F for 20 minutes.
During cooking, open and stir the chestnuts for an even cook.
Once cooked, wrap them in a towel and peel them when they are warm, after about 4/5 minutes.
