Ingredients
- 4 oz Carnaroli rice
- 1 onion
- 1 clove garlic
- 7 oz potatoes
- 1 carrot
- 1 shallot
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp chopped parsley
- 2 cups water (boiling)

Steps
Chop the onion, shallot, and garlic in a manual chopper with a cord, add the oil to the pan and gently sauté the vegetables. Using the same chopper, chop the potatoes and carrots a bit less finely and add them to the sauté. Meanwhile, heat the water and when it is boiling, add it to the pan with the potatoes and carrots, and cook for 20 minutes over medium heat with the lid on.
After this time, add the rice to the potatoes and carrots.
Stir using a wooden spoon,
if necessary, add a little more water.
In just over 13 minutes, the rice, potatoes, and carrots are ready
Serve hot with a sprinkle of chives and chili pepper if you like.
