Ingredients

Tender Lemon Skillet Pork Chop

  • 4 pork chops (not too thick or loin slices)
  • 2 lemons
  • 1 knob butter (optional)
  • to taste extra virgin olive oil
  • to taste water
  • salt
  • pepper
  • to taste all-purpose flour

Tools

  • Frying Pan
  • Citrus Juicer

Steps

  • Prepare the pork chops by coating them with flour.

  • Wash the lemons well, then squeeze them and set the juice aside in a small bowl.

    In a large, preferably non-stick pan, put a knob of butter and a drizzle of oil and melt it gently over low heat.

    Lightly brown the floured chops on both sides for a few minutes.

  • Brown them on medium heat, first on one side and then on the other.

    At this point, deglaze the meat with lemon juice and cook until a nice thick cream has formed.

    Let it simmer covered for about 7/8 minutes, stirring occasionally.

    (During cooking, the meat will form a sauce; if it dries out too much, add a little water).

  • If desired, you can add a few lemon slices halfway through cooking.

    Add a bit of salt and pepper, then turn off the heat.
