Delicious air fryer stuffed peppers, prepared in just a few minutes and truly delightful. I decided to try cooking them in the air fryer instead of on the stove or in the oven, curious to see how they would turn out, and I have to say the taste was truly delightful. I used very little oil, just a light spray on the surface before cooking, yet they came out really great and golden. Inside, I added a bit of meat and sausage, mixed it all like meatballs with soaked stale bread, an egg, and then seasonings – garlic, parsley, and a mix of grated cheeses. I quickly hollowed out the peppers and filled them with this delicious stuffing, and the final result was so good that I will definitely make the recipe again soon. My husband, who doesn’t like peppers very much, said they turned out really good, and when I told him that I cooked them in 10 minutes, he couldn’t believe it, yet it’s true, in the oven it would take a few more minutes, just like on the stove.
I’ll leave you with more pepper recipe ideas, including stuffed ones, with different cooking methods. Of course, you can also fill them with tuna or different fillings without meat or fish.

Steps for Preparing Air Fryer Stuffed Peppers
First, soak a nice slice of stale bread in cold water in a bowl.
Prepare the peppers by washing and drying them, cut in half lengthwise, remove seeds, filaments, and the stem, making them more digestible. Choosing yellow peppers usually makes them more digestible.
Arrange the halved peppers on a cutting board and sprinkle a little salt inside.
Prepare the stuffing for the peppers. Put the well-squeezed and finely crumbled bread in a bowl. Add the meat, and crumbled sausage, removed from its casing, add garlic, parsley, and grated cheeses, an egg, cracked in a small bowl, and a pinch of salt, and knead to form a homogeneous mixture.
Stuff the peppers with this mixture until the mixture is used up.
Now it’s time to cook our delicious peppers. This time I cooked them in the air fryer, placing them in the basket, spraying with a very little oil, and cooking for 10 minutes in a preheated air fryer at 392°F (200°C). The base of the pepper remains slightly crispy, if you want it more cooked, just turn the peppers after 10 minutes and continue cooking for another couple of minutes.
Alternatively, you can cook the peppers for about 15-20 minutes in a pan, with a splash of oil and water, covered, or in the oven, placed in a baking dish, sprayed with a little oil, and cooked for about 20 minutes at 356-392°F (180-200°C).
Once cooked, they are ready to enjoy, excellent just prepared, but also delicious when cold.
