The orange cookies with semolina flour are delicious and fragrant cookies perfect for breakfast and snacks.

The preparation is very simple. You just need to mix the ingredients in a bowl and stir with a spoon. Once you’ve obtained a smooth dough, form a kind of cylinder and press it slightly with your hands. At this point, cut the cookies with a knife, and bake. Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 1 orange zest
  • 1 lemon zest
  • 4.2 oz sugar
  • 10.6 oz semolina flour
  • 2.8 oz orange juice
  • 3 tablespoons milk
  • 3 tablespoons sunflower oil
  • 0.3 oz baking powder
  • to taste milk
  • to taste powdered sugar (or granulated)

  • 1 Baking Tray
  • 1 Brush

How to Prepare Orange Cookies with Semolina Flour

  • In a bowl, add the egg, lemon and orange zest, sugar, semolina flour, and orange juice. Mix with the spoon.

  • Add the milk, oil, and baking powder. Start mixing with the spoon, then continue kneading by hand until you obtain a smooth dough.

  • With the dough obtained, form a cylinder and flatten it slightly with your hands. (Do this operation on a lightly floured parchment paper with semolina flour).

  • Using a knife, cut the cookies.

  • Place the cookies on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.

  • Using a kitchen brush, brush the cookies with milk, and sprinkle with powdered or granulated sugar.

  • Bake in a preheated oven, static at 356°F (180°C) and let cook for about 15/20 minutes. Please check the cooking times based on your oven.

  • Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, and enjoy.
