Crunchy Chicken Rolls in the oven are an easy and tasty main course that the whole family always loves. The Crunchy Rolls in the oven are made with chicken breast and stuffed with cooked ham and cheese, then breaded in toasted corn flour, they are crispy outside and tender and melty inside. Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast
  • 5 oz cooked ham
  • 3.5 oz cheese
  • as needed corn flour (for breading or breadcrumbs)
  • as needed extra virgin olive oil

How to make Crunchy Chicken Rolls

  • Place the chicken breast slices on a cutting board, fill with a slice of cooked ham that covers the slice, then add a piece of cheese.

  • Close by tightly rolling the slice with its filling.

  • At this point, divide the rolls in two and brush them with olive oil.

  • Roll each piece in the corn flour, breading them properly.

  • Take a baking tray, and place them next to each other vertically. Drizzle with a little oil on top.

  • Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for about 25 minutes on the static mode of your oven. At the end, take them out and serve them hot and melty.

Storage, Variants, and Tips for Crunchy Chicken Rolls

The Crunchy Rolls in the oven can be stored in the refrigerator until the next day in an airtight container. You can substitute cooked ham with speck, and if you prefer, you can use another cheese, like Galbanino or Provolone. If you want to reduce cooking times, you can also cook them in an air fryer at 350°F for about 12 minutes.
