Pumpkin Cutlet

Pumpkin is a fruit that finds its place in numerous recipes because it can be cooked in many ways. I decided to create the pumpkin cutlet recipe, which with its breading and the use of some spices will allow you to bring a tasty and visually appealing side dish to the table. They are made with thick slices of pumpkin, first dipped in egg and then in corn flour, they are delicious and ready in less than half an hour!

Ingredients for Pumpkin Cutlet

  • 1.1 lbs pumpkin
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup corn flour
  • salt
  • chives

Tools

  • 1 Knife
  • 2 Shallow plates
  • 1 Baking tray

Steps for Pumpkin Cutlet

  • First, cut the slices, remove the pumpkin seeds, and peel off the skin. Take two shallow plates and put the egg in one and the corn flour, salt, and chives in the other. Dip each pumpkin slice in the eggs, then in the corn flour, covering all sides well.

    Take a baking tray, drizzle with a little oil, and place the pumpkin slices spaced apart.

    Bake in a fan oven at 340°F for 25/30 minutes.

  • Place them on a serving plate and serve!

If you want, you can cook these delicious cutlets in a pan. Fill with frying oil, once at temperature, dip the slices. Cook for about 3 minutes per side, turning a couple of times. Take a serving plate with an oil-absorbing sheet and place the pumpkin cutlets on it. Let them sit for a few seconds, and then enjoy them hot.
