  • 10.5 oz potatoes (boiled)
  • 12 slices salami
  • 3.5 oz provola cheese
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper
  • to taste extra virgin olive oil

How to Make Puff Pastry Baskets with Potatoes and Salami

  • To prepare the puff pastry baskets with potatoes and salami, unroll the puff pastry, then use a pastry cutter to cut out six circles, and with the remaining puff pastry, knead it again and cut out another six. (You should end up with 12 pieces in total).

  • At this point, place them in slightly oiled muffin molds, and use a fork to prick the surface.

  • Fill with boiled potatoes seasoned with salt, pepper, and oil, then add a slice of salami and a couple of pieces of melting cheese.

  • Bake them using the static mode of the oven at 375°F for about 20 minutes.

You can prepare your puff pastry baskets a couple of hours in advance, and bake or reheat them when ready. Freezing is not recommended.
