Ingredients

  • 6.5 oz strozzapreti pasta
  • 1 cup fine peas
  • 3.5 oz cubed cooked ham
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Half onion
  • 1 bunch parsley
  • to taste salt
  • to taste extra virgin olive oil
  • to taste white pepper

Steps

  • In a pan, pour some extra virgin olive oil and the chopped onion, let it soften for a few minutes over low heat.

  • Add the fresh or frozen peas and the ham cubes, sauté for 5 minutes, stirring often.
    Add half a glass of water.
    Season with salt and pepper and cook for 10 minutes.

  • During cooking, also add the chopped parsley, before turning off, stir in the cream and mix.
    The sauce is ready to dress your pasta dish.
