Herb omelette, baked in the oven, is made with few ingredients and will make your taste buds tingle! This omelette is great as an appetizer snack if cut into cubes, also delicious to enrich a salad, but my favorite way to enjoy it is in a sandwich. In fact, it was my favorite snack when I went on school trips as a child! Now run to the kitchen to try this delicious herb omelette baked in the oven!

Ingredients for the baked herb omelette
- 6 eggs (medium)
- 1 bunch basil (about 0.5 oz)
- 1 bunch parsley (about 0.5 oz)
- 2 teaspoons chives (dried)
- 2 tablespoons Grana Padano cheese, grated
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon fine salt

Preparation of the herb omelette
Break the eggs into a bowl, add a pinch of salt, and lightly beat them with a spoon.
Add the grated Grana and flour to the eggs, stir quickly for 1 minute, then add the oil, chives, washed and chopped basil, and parsley. Combine all ingredients.
Preheat the oven to 482°F, line the baking pan with parchment paper, and pour in the egg and herb mixture. When the oven is hot, bake and cook for 15/18 minutes, then remove the herb omelette and enjoy it, excellent both hot and cold!
Advice
If you like, you can add 1 minced clove of garlic to the omelette.
You can also add diced pancetta.
You can serve it during an appetizer or as a second course accompanied by salad.
Also delicious as a filling for a sandwich!
