- 2.5 oz whole wheat penne
- 3.5 oz zucchini
- 10 zucchini flowers
- 10 taggiasca olives
- 1 fresh Tropea spring onion
- 2 tbsps extra virgin olive oil
- to taste salt
- to taste white pepper
Steps
Let’s start by cleaning the flowers, removing the stem, opening the flower, and removing the pistil. Wash them thoroughly.
Proceed with the small zucchinis, wash them and cut off the ends. Slice them into thin rounds. If using a regular-sized zucchini, cut it lengthwise into quarters to get small pieces.
Slice the fresh Tropea spring onion into rings, separate the rings with your hands.
After preparing the vegetables, we can prepare the sauce and put the water on the stove for cooking the pasta.
In a pan, I poured two tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil and added the fresh Tropea spring onion.
