Pan 10×12 inches

  • 7 oz dark chocolate
  • 1 1/4 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 2/3 cups flour
  • 7 oz butter
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • rum flavor
  • vanilla
  • 17 1/2 oz ricotta
  • 3 eggs
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 7 oz sour cherries
  • vanilla
  • lemon zest

Steps

  • Prepare the base:

    Melt the chocolate together with the butter. Whisk the eggs with the sugar until you get a light and creamy mixture. Add a bit of rum flavor and vanilla,

  • Add the melted chocolate and butter, the flour, the baking powder, and the cocoa. Put about 3/4 of the obtained mixture in the pan.

  • Spread and level with a spatula.

    Prepare the filling:

    Place the ricotta, eggs, grated lemon zest, vanilla,

  • Add the sugar and mix. Put the obtained cream over the base, add the pitted sour cherries, and cover with the remaining mixture.

  • Bake at 356°F for about an hour.
