Once you have finished preparing your custard and it has cooled, proceed with the preparation of the base of your tart with orange custard.Take the shortcrust pastry from the fridge, and roll it out with the help of a rolling pin to a thickness of about 1/5 inch.
Butter and flour the pan in which you will bake the tart, and then place the shortcrust pastry inside.
Prick the bottom of the shortcrust pastry and then fill it with the orange custard.
Cut strips from the leftover pieces to decorate the surface, and once finished, bake in a preheated static oven at 350°F for about 40/45 minutes.
Your tart with orange custard will be ready once the surface is golden.
Once baked, remove the tart from the oven, let it cool completely so the custard sets, and then serve and enjoy in company.
Storage
The tart with orange custard can be stored for up to 4 days under a glass cake dome.
