The frozen minestrone in the multicooker, ready in less than 15 minutes, is a true ally for our health.

The minestrone is perfect for the whole family, rich in vitamins, minerals, and lots of fiber. If you like, you can also blend it and make a delicious vegetable puree where croutons are a must.

For cooking the minestrone, we used the Moulinex Turbo Cuisine & Fry electric pot, which besides being a multicooker, also has an air fryer lid, with a capacity of 7.6 liters.

In the recipe, you will also find the cooking procedure with the Cecotec Olla electric pot and the classic pressure cooker.

  • 2.5 cups natural water
  • 3 tbsps extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 tbsps tomato sauce
  • to taste fine salt
  • to taste pepper

Tools for the frozen minestrone in the multicooker:

  • 1 multicooker
  • 1 Wooden spoon

Steps for preparing and cooking the frozen minestrone in the multicooker:

  • In the electric pot basket, put the extra virgin olive oil, set the SAUTÉ program, and slightly heat it, add the frozen minestrone vegetables and stir well so they absorb the flavor.

Add the tomato sauce or alternatively tomato paste and stir well, add room temperature water, salt, and pepper.

  • Turn off the multicooker, close the lid and lock it, turn on the device and rotate the knob on the panel to the right to the SOUP program, set the cooking time by pressing the clock image and then turn the knob left or right to set the time for 10 minutes. Press the start button, the display will show HEAT, then cooking will start, at the end of the time you’ll hear a hiss.

Turn off the pot, release the steam by pressing the large button on the lid with the steam image, and then open the pot.

Stir the minestrone well and serve it, you can also blend it to create a creamy vegetable puree, we recommend not blending directly in the basket to preserve its integrity.

If you like, you can also add Parmesan rinds to the preparation for extra flavor, we also add a sprinkle of Parmesan on top, but this addition depends on personal taste.

  • Preparation with the Cecotec Olla multicooker, initially set the SAUTÉ program and then the pressure cooking program, the times and ingredients are the same.

Preparation with the classic pressure cooker, put the oil in the pot, then add all the other ingredients, cover with the lid, bring to pressure on medium flame, then when the valve rises, lower the heat and cook for 10 minutes.
