Ingredients
- 1 red bell pepper
- 1 yellow bell pepper
Tools
- Air Fryer
- Plastic Bag
Steps
Thoroughly wash the peppers under running water. Dry them with a kitchen cloth and place them whole in the basket of the air fryer or on the removable tray.
Cook them at 392°F for about 25 minutes, making sure to turn them halfway through. After this time, they should be tender, and the skin should be blistered and slightly charred. If necessary, extend the cooking time by a few more minutes.
Once ready, transfer the peppers to a plastic bag and seal them. Alternatively, you can use a bowl and cover them with a lid.
After resting, remove the skin from the peppers. It should peel off easily. Also remove the stem and internal seeds.
The roasted peppers are ready to be used in various dishes, like side dishes, salads, or as a base for sauces.
