How to Prepare the Soft Orange and Chocolate Cake
In a bowl, add the eggs and sugar. Mix with a spoon.
Add the grated zest of an untreated orange, milk, oil, orange juice, and anise liqueur. Mix with the spoon.
Add the flour and baking powder. Mix with the spoon, being careful not to create lumps.
Add the chocolate chips and the remaining 1/4 cup of all-purpose flour. Mix everything well with the spoon until you get a smooth and homogeneous dough.
Pour the obtained mixture into a previously greased and floured 10-inch tart pan.
If desired, sprinkle the surface of the cake with granulated sugar, so that a golden and crunchy crust will form during baking.
Also sprinkle with a layer of powdered sugar, and finally add the dark chocolate shavings.
Bake in a preheated, static oven at 350°F and let it cook for about 30 minutes. Be sure to check the cooking times based on your oven.
Remove from the oven, let cool, and serve yourself.
