Cake with Apples and Jam

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 5 tbsp sunflower seed oil
  • 2 tbsp limoncello
  • 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 package baking powder
  • 1 apple (diced)
  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • as needed jam
  • 1 apple (sliced thinly)

  • 1 Bowl
  • 1 Mixer
  • 1 Bundt Pan
  • 1 Spatula
  • 1 Teaspoon

How to prepare the cake with jam and apples

  • In a bowl, place the eggs and sugar. Mix with an electric mixer until the mixture is fluffy and frothy.

  • Add the milk, oil, and limoncello. Mix with the electric mixer.

  • Add the flour and baking powder. Mix well, ensuring there are no lumps.

  • Add a diced apple and 1/3 cup of all-purpose flour. Mix with a spatula.

  • Pour the mixture into a 9.5-inch bundt pan previously greased and floured. My pan doesn’t need greasing or flouring. If you’d like to check it out, you’ll find it in the tools list above.

  • Using a teaspoon, distribute small dollops of jam on the surface of the cake.

  • Decorate with thin slices of apples. If you like, sprinkle with granulated sugar.

  • Bake in a preheated static oven at 356°F. Let it bake for about 35-40 minutes. Always do the toothpick test to check if it’s done.

  • Remove from the oven, let it cool slightly, and serve.
