Cordon Bleu with Crunchy Pumpkin

The Cordon Bleu with Crunchy Pumpkin is a great solution that appeals to the whole family. Main course plus side dish, a really tasty proposal, ready in a few minutes! I relied on AIA for my Cordon Bleu, a longtime leader in the sector. I’ve been choosing them for years; they are convenient and super quick to cook, ready in 11 minutes in the oven and only 7 minutes if cooked in a pan with a dash of oil. They are the best of ready-to-use chicken: delicious and crunchy with turkey and melting cheese filling. I paired them with a delicious side of crunchy pumpkin, sautéed in a pan with breadcrumbs and spices. But if you prefer, you can pair them with other sides, like Texan potatoes or delicious baked au gratin carrots or even the delicious mix of baked vegetables. Now I’ll leave you to the recipe, and if you try it, let me know what you think!

How to Make Cordon Bleu with Crunchy Pumpkin

  • To prepare the pumpkin, start by cutting the pumpkin, removing the seeds and fibers inside, and don’t forget to peel it. Cut it into not too large cubes; I recommend making cubes of the same size to maintain consistency during cooking.

Proceed by browning the garlic with two tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil in a pan over high heat. Add the pumpkin and continue cooking for 5 minutes over high heat; if needed, add a glass of hot water, then salt and pepper.

When the pumpkin is well-cooked but not mushy, sprinkle with breadcrumbs and rosemary and continue cooking for another 3 minutes.

Meanwhile, take the cordon bleu and cook them without seasonings in the oven for 11 minutes with the fan mode at 428°F. Remember to turn them halfway through cooking.

Take them out of the oven and serve them hot, along with the crunchy pumpkin. All that’s left is to get inspired by this simple recipe to prepare a fantastic dinner!
