Ingredients

  • 6 egg whites (220 g of egg whites)
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • to taste Nutella®
  • 2 tsp baking powder

Tools

  • 1 Mixer
  • 1 Spatula

Steps

  • In a bowl, pour the egg whites, add a pinch of salt, and beat them until stiff with a mixer.

  • Then incorporate the flour, stirring from bottom to top without deflating the mixture.

  • Add the sugar and baking powder. Stir again.

  • Pour the mixture, spreading it over a baking tray covered with parchment paper.

  • Level well with a spatula and then bake at 350°F for 12-15 minutes.

  • After the baking time, immediately remove the sponge cake from the baking sheet and turn it over onto another sheet of parchment paper.

  • Remove the paper, then roll the sponge cake, and let it cool completely rolled.

  • Once cooled, unroll the roll and fill it with plenty of Nutella.
    Wrap it again and at serving time, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
