The Flatbread with Ham without Yeast and without leavening is a very tasty recipe. As I mentioned, there is no brewer’s yeast, nor instant yeast, and consequently, there is no leavening. This variant came to mind when I was re-reading the recipe for flatbread with tomatoes without eggs. I also recommend trying the potato flatbread.
This rustic dish with cooked ham is very good! Well-stuffed and really delicious, the whole family is already crazy about it! Go ahead and try this super recipe yourselves!!

Ingredients
- 3 1/3 cups all-purpose flour
- 2.7 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 cup water
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 8.8 oz cooked ham
- 3.2 oz cheese
- as needed olive oil
Steps
In a large bowl, place the flour, pour in the oil, salt, and water a little at a time.
Then mix well first with a fork and then with your hands.
At this point, knead until you form a smooth and compact dough ball.
Then divide it into 2 and let it rest for 30 minutes covered with cling film at room temperature.
After resting, roll out the two dough balls into discs with a rolling pin.
Stuff the base with cooked ham and sliced cheese. Cover with the second layer of dough and seal well along the edges.
Then prick the entire surface with a fork.
Next, brush a little olive oil on the surface and bake your flatbread with ham without yeast for 15-20 minutes at 392°F in the oven set to static mode.
Storing the Flatbread
The flatbread with ham without yeast can be stored for a couple of days and reheated when needed. I do not recommend freezing it.
Variations
You can replace the cooked ham with raw ham, but be careful not to choose one that is too flavorful. Add a sprinkle of grated Parmesan to your flatbread.
